Niklas Lindskog was born in the early 1960s and lives up in the frozen north of Sweden with his wife Anna-Lena, and their grown-up children now have kids of their own. Having won national medals in Track & Field he channelled that experience into leadership and became a coach and an educator.
His passion for photography awoke after a yearlong night course in photography in his teens with a professional photographer which has led Niklas to travel the world with his camera,
and now allows us to see street photography through his eyes.

Niklas Lindskog è nato all'inizio degli anni '60 e vive nel gelido nord della Svezia con sua moglie Anna-Lena, e i loro figli ormai adulti che hanno figli propri. Dopo aver vinto medaglie nazionali nell'atletica leggera, ha incanalato quell'esperienza nella leadership ed è diventato un allenatore e un educatore.
La sua passione per la fotografia si è risvegliata dopo un corso serale di fotografia durato un anno durante l'adolescenza con un fotografo professionista che lo ha portato a viaggiare per il mondo con la sua macchina fotografica,
e ora ci permette di vedere la fotografia di strada attraverso i suoi occhi.

Niklas is an old companion of mine from Deviant Art, a senior member of Progressive, who helped us grow the group in the very early days. He is an envoy of ours, who before Covid provided us with many reports in the form of travel blogs from New York, Bangkok, Istanbul and LA. Keef met up with him in Istanbul and can testify to his no nonsense ‘swoop into the action’ technique. Niklas won the Gothenburg SPF l last year and has, through Progressive Publishing House, delivered a beautiful book on Beijing. I can state emphatically, that Niklas has a true love for this genre, he is a real proponent of street photography.
