When I'm on my travels, I sometimes blog

London, Sunday 15th - Monday 16th

Hello everybody!

After the festival in Gothenburg ended on Saturday evening, I got up really early on Sunday morning to catch a 7:30 flight to London Gatwick. The time zone change worked in my favour and I could be out on the streets shooting already at 10:30, after dropping my bags at the hotel. An hour later I met up with my Swedish friend Fredrik, who lives in London.

We made our way to Spitalfields Market, where I had an early lunch. Brick Lane is nearby and it was full street action as always on a Sunday! Further north and only on Sundays is the Columbia Road Flower Market, another great place for street phoography! Our next stop was the Broadway food market and some Spanish Tapas for an early dinner. By then I was feeling my early start and it was time to go back to the hotel.

On the Monday I did some photo editing and the Gothenburg blog in the morning and then went out shooting. At about one o'clock, I met up with my dear friend, Jan Rockar, a Hungarian/Slovakian photographer who has been living in London for many years. We had a long chat in a pub near Brick Lane to catch up and then continued the chat over a photo walk for an hour or so before Jan had to get back to work. I continued the streeting for some more hours before getting some Malaysian noodles and then heading home to my lonely hotel room.

See you in the next one!
Niklas
