To Stockholm for work

Hi guys!

Last weekend I went to Stockholm for work. But I had 4 hours on the Friday and another 4 hours on the Sunday to spend on street photography.
On the Friday I arrived in the morning and went out on my own to get some shots. I walked familiar street, where I know there are always many people about. Hötorget, Drottninggatan, Sergels Torg. On the big square Sergels Torg there was an art project or two going on. The artist had done a large numer of portraits and posted them on walls pillars and ceilings all around.
After this I walked by the Parliament to Gamla Stan = the Old Town. In the southern end of this island, the old locks between the ocean an Mälaren lake have been rebuilt. This construction has been going on for years and now finally it's done! Or maybe not completely, because there was still construction going on, but the actual locks looked finished. I found some interesting new scenery for my street shots there. I walked through newly constructed tunnels to the Södermalm island, "Söder" for short, which translates to "South".
I shot there for about an hour before going off to work.
On the Sunday after finishing work, I went into the city to meet up with my good friend and fellow street photographer, Anders Johansson. We started with Sergels Torg again and the went east to Hamngatan, Norrmalmstorg (where the "Stockholm Syndrome" was born), through smaller street to Sveavägen. There we found a Thai food street market. The traffick had been cordoned off and the were people munching away all around!
Then it was time for me to make my way to the airport to catch my flight back home.

Take care, everybody!
